Bottle at the brewery. Pours clear, glowing gold with a frothy, pure white head. Lovely stuff, some honey, biscuits, ripe lemon, restrained acidity, melon, pale wood. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, lots of drying pale wood, hay, lemon, mellow funk. Great stuff overall.

Bottle picked at at the brewery. It pours clear bright golden with a tinge of orange. Head is thick and fluffy. The aroma is bright, sweet, oily, perfumed, sweet white grape, apple, brandy, orange peel, funky, floral, bit of barnyard, gooseberry and vanilla oak. The taste is firmly dry, tart, light kick of acidity, oak, musty, old leather, deep funky vibe, oily, plenty of grape, gooseberry, tannin, orange peel, apple skin, spice, bit of alcohol and spice with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, but lively carbonation. Great depth of flavour to it. Playful mix of flavours. Intoxicating and moreish. Delicious.

750ml bottle at the brewery pours a crystal clear gold with some sticky, white head. Nose is cool, woody, both old oak and fresh wood shavings, stone fruits, grasses, lemon. Flavor has lemon rind, floral, tart now, some yogurt, lightly woody here, there's a little schnapps at the back. Finishes tart, oily but very drinkable. Well done.

Bottle shared at Brewery. Pours hazy gold with a decent white head. Cheesy funk on the nose. Taste is pretty funky. A little cheese and the barrel comes through just taking the edge off leaving an oak dryness on the finish. Good stuff.
