This premium ale reflects the colour and intensity of Autumn. Its deep reddish hue derives from the addition of crystal malt in the grist. The flavour is predominantly malty with a subtle late hop character.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Ocado. Pours clear red with a frothy, khaki head. Toasted brown bread in the nose, faint piney and floral hops. Medium sweet flavour with a good dose of creamy caramel, toasted grains, low bitterness, accents of ripe berries. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with slight earthy bitterness, more toasted grains and brown bread, ripened berries, plums, caramel. Not bad.

Flaske delt med Steven, hjemme hos ham: klar, rødlig mahogny med kort skum. Fin aroma og smak av røde bær, ristet brød og nøtter. Fin bietterhet i ettersmaken, men for tynn kropp til at den er minneverdig.

Bottle, 4.5%. Dusty and caramelly aroma. Clear dark copper colour. Very small head, seems grey. The flavour is also caramelly. It has a mild spiciness, may stem from the hops, I am not totally sure. Not bad for a beer with the word "red" in its name.
