On tap somewhere. Cloudy orange - brown beer. Crisp palate. Pleasantly fruity sharp start. Orange and a little peach. hen dry and lightly spiced malt that ultimately turns a little creamy. Finishes with a carbonated bite and a lot of minerals. Refreshing, crisp and tasty.

A lightly hazed golden saison with a thin white head. A rather herbaceous malt aroma, with musty Italian herbs. In mouth, a rather off taste, bland and dead, light lactic points, lighter bodied offering. BB 26-08-10, tasted Nov. 11 at l’Autre Oeil, with Sammy, Radek and Probstk.

Bottle. Very hazy orange, fluffy cream head. Very high bead. First whiff is full of curacao, but quickly this seems to meld into a more typical citrus/ light yeast dough/ spice aroma - although the curocao is very noticeable as a being like a lower register orange. Soft creamy mouthfeel - very hefe-like. Taste is rather sweet and the spice and sour notes whilst there are very modest and come across as flavourings rather than part of the character of the beer (although there’s some cloves in the taste that aren’t an addition).

(Draught at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 7 Aug 2009) Hazy pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with spices, coriander and a touch of wheat. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of wheat, peaches, herbs and a touch of fresh coriander. Low bitterness. Slightly below medium body, balanced sweetness. Not as tasty and complex as some of the better Belgian versions but still a decent shot at the saison style with lots of wheat character.
