Bottiglia.

14 September 2020. At Doppio Malto, Verona. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear dark golden with a stable, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of biscuit, brioche, plum, apricot, orange peel, caramel. Taste has sweet maltiness of plum, apricot, pear & caramel, bit herbal & spicy in a biscuity body. Herbal hoppy finish remains sweet thanks to dried fruit, caramel & biscuit. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Rather sweet & traditional but not bad.

3rd September 2011
Very hazy amber beer, big off white head. Light crisp palate. Light minerals. Very nice light sourness. Mild creamy malt undertone. Subtle hops. Finishes crisp and dry. Thought this was a sour beer! Albeit marvellously mild and very drinkable!
