Cask at the Orange Tree, Baldock. Dark gold, clear and pretty much flat. Punchy grass aroma with light citrus. Taste is pleasantly bittersweet with an astringent hit at the end of the sip. Medium to long finish. An incredibly simple drink, but it works well enough. I’ve had some iffy cask Cascade-led beers in my day, and this is a decent drop.

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Station, Oakengates on 19th Nov 2014. Golden pour with a full white crown on top. The nose and taste were citrus led with a floral and tropical fruit feel to both also. easy to drink and although a little too citrusy for my palate I quite enjoyed this. Bitter and dry finish, obviously in good condition and looked after in the cellar.

Bottle from Jacks, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, Tuesday 21st January 2014 consumed at Bath Marina Campsite, Saturday 25th January in Frank (camper) Pours sparkling gold with a clean white head, this looks spectacular. A little soapy hop at first but the hop pushes on a little more. Citrussy with lemon showing, bitter and dry, very little sweetness. Good! A6 A5 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

Hazy gold beer, small white head. Minerally crisp palate. Thin malt cream. Decent pithy orange hops with whispers of sherbet and lemon. Trace of sweet orange before the crisp finish. Not bad at all!

[cask-bottled @ RBESG 2009, Grand Tasting] Low carbonated, hoppy bitter. The cascade hops are domianting without being very better. Ok.
