This sensory getaway transports you to a corner bodega with our friends at Funky Buddha in South Florida to recreate the flavors you’d find in a Cuban guava pastry. Championing the big, bold flavors that both of our breweries are known for, we brewed an imperial cream ale, adding lactose and vanilla to impart sweet, custard-like ribbons, and guava for filling its conceptual authenticity. It’s a collaboration that’s equal parts inspiration and admiration.

750 ml bottle, thanks to me, purchased at Craft Beer Cellar, Waterbury, VT. Aroma is vanilla bean, guava, mango, and sugar. Flavor is a direct reflection with a bold "milkshake" character. Ends on a ton of fruit and smooth texture. Not sure why this is so drinkable. A total ice cream brew.

Bottle at Craft Islington, thanks to Ken! It pours cloudy orange - amber with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, tangy, juicy, creamy, guava, papaya, watermelon & lime, vanilla and cream soda. The taste is smooth, mellow, vanilla, creamy, ice - cream float, cream soda, toasty grain, sweet fruits, guava and tapioca. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. Perhaps a touch sweet and not as much depth as expected. Fun stuff nonetheless.

Bottle split at CBC Islington, thanks to Kenneth, 29/11/17. Hazed golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is sweet, vanilla, soft brioche, light spice. Taste comprises vanilla essence, sweet stewed fruits, green berry tang, light breads, kiwi, guava. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tasty fruit beer but not my idea of beer pleasure.
