500ml bottle. Pours lightly hazed deep golden with a minimal white head. Aroma: not great, perhaps some light citrus. Taste: dry with moderate bitterness, lemon, some caramel, soapy. Light bodied, minimal carb, dry bitter finish. This neither looks great or tastes great, hope it’s better on cask!

Bottle drank on hols in St Ives. Hazy gold beer with a small off white head. Palate is smooth and dry. Smooth malt, light cream. A tad dry. Decent tangy orange provides balance. Semi dry finish.

Bottle from R Triggs, Lizard, Cornwall. Dry in the palate with very little flavour released in its finish. A big disappointment.

bottle from Darts Farm Topsham Exeter (08/2010). Clear deep golden with a touch of brown. Balanced malt and hop flavours, not much different from a Best Bitter.

50cl bottle from the Hogs Back Brewery Shop. Hazy gold, despite careful pouring, with a trace of white head; lemony aroma; oily texture with a sweet citrus flavour over light malts. OK, but nothing special.
