Bottle at home from Spar, Par, Cornwall on 18th April 2015. Hazy amber with thin laceless pale yellow foam. Harmonious aroma of honey, malt and grassiness. Fruity in-mouth with berries, honey and grassy hoppiness. Cookie malt, honey and citric tang in finish. Fair amount of body and a lively, zingy mouthfeel.

Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - deep amber with a slight haze and a decent head. Nose - lemon barley water, slight floral. Taste - more of the same, and a bit grainy. Palate - light to medium bodied with a thin-ish texture, though quite creamy and a fairly dry finish. Overall - drinkable but wouldn’t rush back.

Its orange cap is a suitable colour for the golden amber appearance and small ginger notes that give it a slight spiciness. It is by no means overbearing and quite pleasant, probably due to a weaker body. It has no head but a very sweet aroma.

Cask at a back street pub in St. Ives. Light ginger aroma. Pours light amber. Flavor is very light ginger over mild caramel. Tends towards a bitter finish.

@ First & Last, Penzance. Light amber-copper colour. Spicy hops and a hint of ginger on the nose. Refreshing - the ginger is very subtle and there some nice spicy hops.

Light amber coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of light english hops, a touch of malt and a sweet caramel scent. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong hops up front that fade very quickly and show a well balanced maltiness and a touch of nuts and raisins. Aftertaste shows some more hops, but mainly a balanced dryness with some very mild sweetness. Overall, a good bitter, not too strong and shows well when served from the cask! I sampled this pint on cask at the York in London (Islington - N1), England on 13-December-2008.

Cask. Deep orangeish golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is honey, nectar, some spices as well asome caramel malts and sweetish wooden notes. Flavour is caramel malts, honey, nectar, mild spices as well as rather wooden and herbal in the finish. Pleasant bitter.
