Appearance: Clear golden orange. Little bit of fizzy head. Aroma: Grass and some hops. Yeast. Taste: Grass, skunk. Not nice at all. Some bitterness. Info: 500ml bottle, 1/4-2008
I am not sure whether this bottle was off, or if it is actually supposed to taste this bad. It is a clear bottle, so you never know if too much light might have ruined it.

[500ml bottle from Asda High Wycombe, 7/1/2008] Rating 7/3/7/4/14 Smell quite sweet & malty, a bit too fizzy for my liking (but somehow this works with the beer). Citrus flavours, bitter but refreshing. Mouthfeel of a lager. A top-notch summer beer. [Re-rate 13/11/2011, gift from Maureen & Dave - cheers!] Rating 6/4/8/4/15 My original rating was one of my earliest, and I expected I’d probably end up downgrading it now compared to others I’d had since. It pours a crystal clear copper colour, with a moderate but diminishing white head. Orangey-lemon citrus, some biscuit and a good, solid, crisp clean refreshing bitterness. Great stuff, very easy drinking, yet very satisfying. One of the best of the regional brewer pasteurised bottled bitters, with barely a hint of the pasteurisation. Ended up upgrading my rating rather than reducing it!

500ml bottle- Amber in colour with a malty and hoppy nose with grapefruit, orange, lemon and grain being detected. A rather refreshing and zingy taste with the hops again being noticeable although rather sterile. Not bad and refreshing in the summer.

500ml bottle brought over by my friend Bjorn! Nose is caramel and grassy with light banana esters; Dark gold with a medium straw head; flavor is caramel malt with a mix of light tartness and bitterness.

Orange beer with thin white head. There are hops and grass in the aroma but it is not very pleasant. Flavour is very bitter but it is not aromatic. Quite nice to drink. Typical body with simple hoppiness is not very interesting.

(Bottle) Amber colour with frothy, off-white, rather brief head. Fruity nose, slightly roasted, with notes of toffee, caramel and dusty hops. Not exceptional but nice. Malty taste with fruit, orange, hops and some caramel. Mainly dry throughout. Dusty hops in the finish, which honestly is a bit short. Body leaning in the thinner direction. Aroma promised slightly more than the taste delivered, but an enjoyable brew.

First ratingInitial Rating Date: 3/7/200750 cl bottle from Systembolaget.Clear brown color, rather small cream colored head. Very hoppy fruity and floral aroma, nice. Rather weak bitter and hoppy taste, I expected more after that pleasant aroma. Spritzy mouthfeel that takes the edge off the flavor. Drinkable in the end, but not much more.6/3/4/2/10=2.5Rerate50 cl bottle at Göteborg City (Säve) airport, on March 12, 2010.Clear deep golden to copper color, medium cream to light yellow colored lasting head. Malty, bitter, buttery, metallic, citrussy hoppy taste. Especially the head has clear metallic notes when tasted. Rather long accentuated dry bitterness that lingers. Initial bitternes also relatively dry, a bit harsh, medium high to high. Fizzy high CO2 mouthfeel. Not much residual sweetness left. Malty sweet, citrussy and phenolic, resin, scent. It’s a nice refreshing beer for drinking a bit more slowly. Also good is the fairly low alcohol level. Some fruity estery notes in the back of the taste after a while. It has got a beautiful look, scent is a bit too subtle, taste is disturbed some by the somewhat dominating dry harsh bitterness. Could also do with a bit less CO2.6/4/6/3/12=3.150 cl bottle on Feb 22, 2014, thanks to Skalman (not on Ratebeer).Clear copper color, white head. Sweet, malty scent. Malty, sweet, grainy taste. Malty aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.7/4/5/3/11=3.0
