Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a small cream head. Aroma is mainly malts. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with dark chocolate, toffee and roasted malts over a buttery biscuit base. There’s a touch of bitterness in the finish. Decent enough if not particularly memorable.
