A crisp and hoppy session bitter. Amber malt provides a pleasant biscuity edge to this pale golden-coloured ale. A blend of English and American hops add a wonderfully floral and citrus-like, long dry finish.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear frothy, short-lived white head. The aroma is malt, light buttery yeast, light fruit, light dry hop. The flavour is moderate bitter sweet with a crisp, fresh, malt, light fruit, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

50 cl bottle from Superstore in Wokingham, sampled on June 23, 2017. BBE: SE 17.Hazy pale golden color, smallish white head, leaving some lacing. Herbal and a tad citrussy hoppy scent with a well balanced crisp maltiness. Malty, a tad buttery, bitter, sort of astringent and dry almost harsh taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high to high dry to harsh bitterness. Bitter, hoppy, citrus, herbal aftertaste. Rather too bitter focused in taste and aftertaste, no real balance to it.7/3/6/3/11=3.0

Cask @ Princess of Shoreditch, London. Almost clear golden with a small white head. Surprisingly nice aroma for a golden ale, citric fruit and floral. Flavor is smooth mild pale ale, citric fruit and some bitterness. Medium to light bodied but actually quite decent body for a less than 4% ABV beer. Medium aftertaste. Smooth and surprisingly nice.

A cask pint in the lovely Wetherspoons on Chancery Lane, London: The Knight’s Templar on 12th Nov 2016. The weather outside was more rain dodger than sun dancer but it was the only cask ale I had never had before on offer so went for it. Golden pour, white head, clear and clean looking body. Mild citrus leanings in both the aroma and flavour: so not really my thing. Refreshing enough, but a summer’s day beer, not an Autumn one. At least there was some malt action in the taste, so not all bad.

500ml bottle from deli at Kew Bridge. Golden colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and citrus & floral hop aroma. Taste is biscuity malt, sweetish, with citrus and flowery hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry tangy slightly metallic bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
