Beer Number 21 at the Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2025, leaving 7 of 30 still untried plus one of the two variations on the previously tried. Hoppy bitter, and a bit of both in balance. Easy for some to say!

Cask handpull at Shakespeares Head Holborn. Clear pale gold colour. Lasting white head. A light golden ale with some citrus fruit. Some whote stone fruit too. Moderate bitterness on the finish. Some yeast character. It's ok. Pale and light bit with enough fruit flavour to keep you interested.

Cask at Bull & Stirrup, Chester. Pours golden yellow with a medium sized foamy off-white head and good lacing. The aroma has malts and summer fruits plus some hints of citrus. In the mouth it is sweet but with some underlying sharpness. Flavour has floral hops, orange peel and citrus plus traces of grapefruit. Some bitterness in the finish. This is reasonable.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Pale amber with a thin white head. Slimy caramel, a bit of marmalade and a mild bitterness. Lightly drying finish. Ok at best; needs the marmalade to show through more really.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A bright pale amber pour with a rim of white head; weak mandarin aroma; slightly chalky in the mouth with an orangey taste; and a biscuity finish. Rather underwhelming.
