Cask, 3.8% at GBBF08. Weak buttery aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is nicely citric with a little dust in the finish. Thin mouthfeel.

Cask cellar run at Ship & Mitre BF, Liverpool. Pale gold. Nettle hop, peppery aroma. I mean really hoppy. Wow. That is the hoppiest 3.8% beer I’ve ever had. 5 mins later I can still taste these green hop flowers on my tongue. Bit of diacetyl on aroma, but just then blown away by the hop. Stings end of tongue. That is amazing. Not sure what hops they used, but there were a lot of them. Not PNW, could be just a lot of an English hop variety.
