Cask at the White Swan (JDW), Aylesbury before going to see the rather good Levellers gig at the Waterside theatre. Pale yellowy-gold with a white head. Grape, melon, mango and white bread. Sweetish and a little vague but quite drinkable. I always like NZ hops, so I enjoyed it. It could definitely do with a few more hops though - maybe hampered on this front by the 'Spoons price point?

Simple and sweet. Some southern hem accents in the nose but the flavour is basically sweet pale bread, honeysuckle, tangerine, low bitterness. Drinkable enough.

Cask at North Western, Liverpool. Pours a hazy straw with medium sized foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s a basic aroma of floral hops and tropical fruit. In the mouth it is initially slightly bitter and zesty but gradually moderates to become sweet with a creamy texture. Flavour starts off with tropical fruit, figs and floral hops with hints of citrus and mango coming later. Finish is fruity and slightly dry. This is decent.

Beer Number 14 at the Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2025, leaving 14 of 30 still untried. Smoothish and easy mouthfeel for it. Some hoppiness, some sugars, quite a tasty mix. Expected more fruitiness than there is but enjoyed regardless.
