Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 9th August 2025. Clear amber with shallowing off-white foam and full lacing. Nutty malts and zesty peel in aroma. Tangy citrus fruits and peel in-mouth and a long, satisfying malty and zesty finish. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a full to medium body. Utterly superb.

Spoons Spring Fest 2025 - resinous sticky hoppy with some citrusy and light tropical fruity notes of grapefruit and peach, some mango, pine needles, sweet malty backbone, resinous bitter hoppy finish. Great west coast cask action.

Clear pale gold with a frothy white head and a soft sweet citrus aroma. Creamy and fruity, tangerine bitterness with just a hint of resin, chewy light malt underneath and a dry bitter finish

Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours golden amber with a medium sized foamy cream head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma – just hints of malts and citrus. In the mouth it starts off slightly sweet and juicy with a creamy texture but a little bitterness creeps in slowly. Flavour has mango, citrus and hints of floral hops with autumn fruits becoming evident later. Finish is fruity and slightly sticky. This is reasonable.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A bright amber pour with a tight white head; aroma of citrus and pine; mellow grapefruit taste with a malty body; and a nicely rounded finish with some caramel and a pithy bitterness. A proper west coast IPA, but mellowed down!

Beer Number 24; at the Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2025, leaving 4 of 30 still untried plus both the two variations of the already tried in name, which have also been sampled in this fest. Golden, good-looking beer with sweetened tropical fruit in both aroma and taste, perhaps more stated in the former.

Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear darkish gold colour lasting cream head. Ooh yes that's got some American hops. Grapefruit some pine some resin. Grapefruit aroma. OK malts. Moderate bitterness on the finish. It's decent. Like the hoppy finish
