0,5 l bottle from a Rema 1000 as Thisted 5 Stenøl. Bright dark copper in the glass, one finger tanned head. Fresh hopy nose with malt. Taste starts with hopy, toasted malt, dry grain and roasted chestnut. Low carbonated. Okay but nothing more.

Bottle as 5 Stenøl. Clear, very dark amber with frothy offwhite head. Malty aroma with caramel and hints of dried fruit. Flavour is malty, sweet with prominent alcohol, slightly metallic. Finish is bitter with more metal and not-so-pleasant alcohol burn.

33cl bottle (as 5 Stenøl) shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! Pours clear copper coloured with an off-white head. Malty and caramelly aroma with notes of dried fruits and hints of herbs and alcohol. Fairly sweet and caramelly with moderate herbal with fairly decent bitterness. Fair enough, but not quite my thing.

Bottle share for Colin’s 40th. Orange light amber coloured beer. Aroma is dried berry! Dried fruit, berry, raisin, sweet caramel flavour follows sweet berry, caramel hint of wood and smoke caramel. Bit too sweet and caramel. Not very palatable.
