On tap at Håndverksølfestivalen 2017. It's a hazy pale golden colored beer with a dense, fingerthick white head. The aroma is bready and fruity, with a lemony sourish touch. Some pickled cucumber-like herbal notes. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with a tart, light funky flavor. Bread and a touch of yeast in the back, with sourish lemony flavors up front. Lasting finish. The Sorachi Ace hops didn't shine much here, but it's a pleasant beer no matter. Not a beer to drink much of though. 170610

At Ghent Beer Society's Beer Quiz; shared with Anke & Pieter!
Clear pale yellow with a small, frothy, white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon (peel), cucumber, lactic acid, yeast, barnyard and hops. It tastes medium citric sour and light hoppy bitter; tart, yet also yeasty and hoppy in the finish. Medium body, slick/oily texture, soft carbonation. I didn't know it was a Sour Ale before I had it, so I had different expectations. Worked out well though.

At Gents Bierfestival, thanks Ster for sharing. Apparently a sour ale hopped with Sorachi Ace... Medium thick, egg-white head over a hazy straw blonde beer with slightly greenish tinge. Aroma of cucumber, withered dill, fish sauce, sourdough, lime slices; soft sourishness, softish carbo, wheaty and bready middle, lime- and gherkin-like sourishness throughout, dryish but softly so, lactic, herbal hop bitterish finish with floral and dill-like Sorachi Ace accents. Unusual but refreshing.

Thank you for sharing RB Crew! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ GBF 2017. Pale citrus, very pale lemon citrus appearance. Nose is utterly unique elderflower, green paprika, pickle juice, dill, sour cucumber,… Taste is elder flower, pickle juice, dill, cucumber, pickle juice funk, very refreshing,… Body is that elderflower funk,… Wonder what they put in here,… Refreshing & right up my alley.
