Great White is the beer that started it all – it’s the original gangsta. And it remains one of our very favorites to this day. Crisp and refreshing, it’s everything you could ever want from a Belgian-style white. It’s full-bodied, unfiltered, and goes down oh-so smooth. The hint of citrus and coriander sets it apart from other Belgian whites.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour with a small white head that vanishes quite fast. Aroma is wheat, some sweet fruits, nectar and mild herbal notes. Flavour is similar, but has some slight spicy and mild yeasty notes.

Bottle thanks to drowland. Pours lemon. Nose and taste of lemons, banana, wheat, light spices and peel. Good summer beer.

12 oz bottle into footed pilsner glass. Aroma is pretty faint, but there’s definitely some wheat and orange peel here. Pours a hazy light gold with a medium head that diminishes in a couple of minutes, leaving a small blanket of foam. Taste is sweet and then finishes with a light tartness. Definite citrus in flavor. Medium carbonation and body with a creamy mouthfeel. A very drinkable, yet boring, wit.

a tough style to do well. there are a few out there that have really set the bar for whites and this one falls a little short. i give a lot of brewers credit for trying to make a new interpretation on whites, but more times then not it comes out tasting too candyish, and this is one of those, not bad, drinkable and enjoyable, but more than one is out of the question.

Draught. Slightly hazy pale gold with good white head. Almost no aroma; hint of lemon/citrus. Light body but plenty of fine carbonation provides a creamy mouthfeel. Taste is disappointing: somewhat lemony balanced by light malt. There is nothing going on - it’s too bland. Overall, it’s easy drinking, but unexceptional.

Barley rich malt aroma, but also a bit like a sink drain. Opaque golden with a lot of floaties, headless. Some DMS is tasted, green olives and onions, but faint hints of coriander too. A little wheat grass in the end. Infected, but still drinkable. The taste gets better but the aroma got worse.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and coriander. The flavor is sweet with light notes of wheat and coriander as well as some lemon, the finish is lightly dry. Not very exciting, but quite refreshing.
