Hazy, beautiful red brown beer with small, but stable tight beige head. Aroma is very strong and very much Christmas. Clove, cinnamon, ginger, berries and sugar malts. Feels like gingerbread. Red berries reminds a bit of wine also. Also apple. Taste is not so strong, but it has also same ingredients, like spices, berries and malts. Medium body, low carbonation. Overall, if a beer must be "Christmas beer", this is totally it. Alcohol is hiding. A mix of gingerbread and mulled wine aka "glögi" works well on the Christmas evening.

Pours a muddled hazy brown from a bottle. Big big big cinnamon and nutmeg aroma and flavor too. Whoo boy. Pretty overwhelming stuff. Meh. I feel like I'm burping a scented candle afterward.

Vom Fass im Muted Horn Berlin 2017-04 getrunken. Pflaume, Zimt und etwas Nelken dominieren diese frische Version vom Fass. Die Flaschenversion ist ja schon Weihnachten pur im Glas aber diese Zimtpflaume - MEGA Geil!

On tap at Muted Horn Berlin. Cones with a dark brown color and a tiny muddy head. The nose is gingerbread, cinnamon, spicy herbs,malts. Taste of sweet gingerbread cookies, speculoos, honey and cinammon. Its like Xmast.

Draft at Beer Temple. Hazy brown with a thick cream head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger cookies, malt, caramel and cloves. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

[Tasting glass draft @ Billie’s Bier Kafetaria] Dark brown amber, small tanned head. Nose is cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, Christmas cake, brown sugar, more spices, pumpkin spices, candy, sugar, more cloves, caramel sweet, amazing if you are really into these spices. Taste is extremely massive on cloves followed by nutmeg, Christmas cake, pumpkin spices, sugar, caramel, toffee, more cloves, cinnamon, sugar, candy, brown sugar, very faintly metallic. Amazing, reminiscent of a pumpkin spices beer in a way with the massive spices. Body is a bit too thin & fizzy keeping it from greatness for me. For sure a fan of this one. I may need the BA version of this one.
