75cl from Bierboom, Bruges. Pours hazy golden with an unstable, frothy, white head. Aroma of old apple, banana, apricot, dark honey, dust, cellared fruit, yeast, wet clove, fruit jenever, bit oxidized. Taste is a sweet estery profile of banana, apricot & honey over a bready, almost white sugary malty base, touch of spicy clove. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, ripe fruit, oxidized, yeasty & dusty with rather strong vodka-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Might have been a tad too old.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 23/06/18. Many thanks! Ahazed yellow gold coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is wheaty grains, sweaty grassy hop, bready. Flavour is composed of belgian yeast, nutty, wheat, sweater. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation, grassy, some solvent.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2018 - cheers all! Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a creamy, off-white head. Good enough, has some wheat bread, lemon peel, Belgian yeast. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with moderate boozy warmth, more lemon peel, pale grains and white sugar. Drinkable gear.

23rd June 2018, shared bottle at the Cotteridge gathering. 0.75 litre bottle bought by me from De Bierboom (Brugge) from Rudy, who is one of 'De Vier Monniken'. Slight haze to the light golden body, smooth white pillow of foam on top. Grainy with a yeasty ester, plus a mild citrus leaning aroma wise, the taste also grainy and citrusy in nature with a yeast presence throughout.

Bottle split at Cotteridge Convention IV, many thanks, 23/06/18. Hazed orange yellow with a decent off white covering. Nose is stewed fruits, grass, yeast esters, orange peel, light booze. Taste comprises grains, breads, tangy citric peel, yeast esters, light spice, herb, raw fruits. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a touch of raw alcohol. So so affair.

Shared at the Cotteridge Convention, 2018. Poured a hazy yellow straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty malt. The flavour is yeasty bitter with a light crisp, dry, light stone fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation.
