On tap at Ritz Hurstville. Slight sweet metal nose. Pale yellow, small head, many many bubbles. Tastes of cold water with stinging metallic hops. Aftertaste is cooked vegetables followed by saccharin. Has to be really really cold.

Bottle at Flan O’Briens, Thonglor, Bangkok. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light hop. The flavour is light bitter with a light watery fake citrus mineral aspirin palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Served cold. Just as well really as it was pretty awful.

Real crisp and clean pale lager. Completely indistinguishable from other lagers of the same style. Tasteless in a good and bad way.

Gold coloured body with almost no head (a touch of white on top) with some bubbles - but a pretty ugly and lifeless beer. Aroma of pale malt, rice, filler and cardboard - not pleasant. Light-bodied; Gross cardboard and metallic flavour with some light malt notes and not much else to speak of. Aftertaste shows metal, malt, a touch of hops and rice - not good. Overall, a pretty bland, weak and understated beer - not really worth trying when there are others down under! I sampled this schooner on draught at Riverland on the Yarra in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 02-January-2010.
