Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 03/08/2025.
Lighter shade of black topped with a lasting faded khaki head ... a handsome looking beer.
Nose is dried berry fruits, cola cubes, pine needle, dark malts, toffee.
Taste comprises dark malts, mixed tropical fruits, pine needle, dank spike, dried red berries, faint liquorice.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness.
Tidy CDA.

Can. Near clear dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Light crisp palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied dark malts, mellow chocolate and even mellower coffee. Crisp pine, modest citrus. Light crisp finish. Hmm. Doesn't really scream BIPA to me but, a pleasant drinking affair all the same.

44cl can, BB ?

440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy cola colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is light lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, fresh, light earthy, light dry spicy, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Nice to see a black IPA with a little body and not so fizzy. Very drinkable.

Can at home, 3rd May 2025. Pours a black beer. Aroma is cocoa, chocolate, sweet notes, light aromatic. Taste is pleasant, roasted malts, cocoa, chocolate, light citrus and aromatic, could do with being more bitter. Nice

440ml can. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate and roast malt, citrus. Taste of chocolate and light roast malts, citrus, caramel, mild gooseberry, some piney bitterness. Medium bodied. A really tasty BIPA but it probably needs more bitterness. Cannot tell this is the same hops as Mist.

Can from the brewery. Pours deepest brown with beige foam. Toasty malts, caramel, gooseberry, liquorice, gooseberry, bitter lemon, char. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation. An interesting flavour journey down to the hops used.
