Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2017 - cheers all! Pours clearish amber with a creamy khaki head. The nose holds bread, ripe berries, toffee. Medium to big sweet flavour, lightly boozy, with sugary berries, more bready malts. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, sticky, some jammy berries for sure. Fun but full-on.

Bottle split at Cotts Convention III, thanks to Garrold, 20/05/17. Chestnut brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is malt forward, berry fruits, straw, toffee, biscuit. Taste comprises sweet malts, berry compote, grains, blackcurrant jam, fruit loaf, dates, prunes. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok sipper but lacks depth for the ABV and style.

Cotteridge #3: 20th May 2017, thanks Gary (Garrold) for this offering. Hazy, grubby copper body, beige topping. Victoria Plum nose, sweet plum jam in the taste. Different and interesting, would have liked a little more, my sweet tooth being taken by the brew.

Bottle at Cotteridge Convention 2017. It pours cloudy reddish - brown with a thick beige head. The aroma is sweet, tangy, fruity, juicy, sweet - sour, grape, toffee and fruit compote. The taste is tangy, juicy, rather fruity, tangy grape, berry, warming alcohol, fruit cake, fig pudding, some leather, alcohol warmth and spice with a dry, tangy finish. Medium - full body and moderate carbonation. Maybe lacks a bit of depth, but I found it enjoyable nonetheless.
