75 cl. bottle, shared. Clear, brown colour with a thin, off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, dark dried fruits, vague Christmas spices. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes sweet with tart, fruity hints and caramel malts. Inoffensive, a bit too sweet for me.

Bottle from Irma, Christianshavn - pours a dark brown colour with beige head. Aroma and taste is toasty and prominent sweet malty, caramel, toffee, sugary, some very vague dried fruity nuances, rather overt sweet and rough round the edges.

750 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 6.5%. Beautiful clear mahogany colour, moderate off-white head. Nice aroma of malts, caramel and brown kandij sugar, also mild Christmas spices. Medium sweet and malty flavour with some caramel and hints of Christmas spices, but lacks fruitiness or "bite" of some kind. Not bad, but could have been better.

Dark amber color with medium but stable head. A bit of a yeasty spiciness and refreshing tartness. Rather mild. Okay.

A deep reddish brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light curacao, herbaceous, OK. In mouth, a rather sweet fruity malt with light licorice, thin bodied, boring and a bit off. On tap at a small café in Arrays, France.
