Cask at the Pelican, Gloucester, 04/04/2025.
Golden amber topped with an off white head.
Nose is grass, toffee, biscuit, modest citric peel.
Taste comprises grass, biscuit, caramel, orange peel.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
Tidy enough cask affair but not really coming across as much of an IPA.

Bottle from Gloucester Services, Gloucestershire. Dark amber with a creamy-frothy head. Hoppy and malty, but the former is slightly more dominant in taste. Easy enough strength.

Handpull cask at the Barrels, Hereford.deep gold and clear once it settles with a creamy off-white head. Sweet floral hop aroma with hints of gardenia, berry and light citrus. Bittersweet taste with a light astringency. The bitterness in the hop increases near the finish. Full body especially for the ABV with soft carbonation. A nice mix of the traditional and the more modern.
