Cask at CBC, London on 31st August 2013. Gold with thin laceless whitish head. Sharply bitter, hoppy aroma. Intensely bitter grassiness in-mouth, and a sharp grassy, leafy bitter finish. Smooth to light mouthfeel and medium body. An acquired taste for some. 7/4/8/4/16 Re-rating March 2015. Cask at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden on 15th March. Amber with white shallow foam and scant lacing. Rich hoppy aroma with spices and pungent malt. Intense hoppiness in-mouth with bitter citrus peel and zesty grapefruit. Finish is tangy, with more of the in-mouth profile. Full-bodied with an engaging texture. 8/4/8/4/16
