Bottle split at Islo tasting, thanks to the Wingmane, 07/07/16. Light black with a decent tan cap. Nose is toffee, dark malts, spice, figs, sweet tunes. Taste comprises mellow fruit esters, toffee melt, spice, liquorice swizzle, fruit loaf, biscuit. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Flavoursome stuff, decent for style.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co. Islington - London. Many thanks to Dave-O! Pours clear, deep brown with a foamy, khaki head. The nose has light toast, burnt toffee. Medium sweet flavour with further impressions of toffee, light dough, faint berries. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Lightly warming in the finale, with some brown bread, more toast, leathery dark fruits. Alright stuff overall.

Big Bottle share at Craft Islington. Thanks to Big Wingman. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Thin darkish malts. Mellow tangy fruit. Pinch of spice. Light dry finish. Nice enough.
