75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Autumn Gathering 2025. Pours a slightly misty gold, large white foam that subsides. Wondrous fresh floral funky nose. Flavour profile has a measured wild funky profile, with a richness from the alcohol though it doesnt seem overboard, soft leafy citrus, excellent balance, wondrous blend.

18/X/25 - 75cl bottle from Colruyt @ BBGG Fall ‘25 (home), BB: 4/XII/44, bottled: 4/XII/24, lot: L43391 (2025-1033) Thanks to Sebletitje for sharing the bottle!
Clear orange blond beer, creamy dense yellowish head, unstable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive. Aroma: nice, very fruity, lots of citrus notes, some peach, grapefruit, brett yeast, slightly funky but overall pretty clean. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, super fruity, a bit woody, surprisingly sweet touch, slightly oxidized. Aftertaste: more fruity, some banana, sugary touch, orange peel, nice! Weird that it is so sweet though?

Bottle shared at BBGG. Clear golden with hige white head. Very typical Boon funk, peach, sweet malts, dry oak, sulphur. Very fruity but also solod funky. Under medium sour, medium sweet. Almost full bodied. Nice but a bit boozy.

Bouteille 75cl, bottled 04/12/2024, BB 04/12/2044, lot# L43391.

Nearly missed out on this one, as stock went freaking fast (and I myself was very slow), so happy, more than happy, to have found a random unknown (to me) webshop that had it ! Opens with quite a bit of power, but no gusher. pours a 80% foam though. A darker blonde underneath. Scent is quite powerfull, typical Boon greatness from a distance. Up close, specifically mature for a Boon, woody, but not over the top woody. Fruity, but less so than most Boon (hence the mature idea) . Taste starts of as highly carbonated. Fresh hop , it seems ? Very herbal, green and even a bit spicy / bitter. Not the biggest fan of this - I liked it in the fresh hop coigneau - because it was the whole idea and marketed as such, here it's much more unexpected, less fitting. It has less of the boon 'funk' I had an amazing experience with in the aroma. Not a bad beer, but I might even prefer the regular Boon over it (tastewise) , whils the aroma was so, so promissing. Happy to have tried it, even more happy the regular boon is so easely available. Even at colruyt !

Funk, some sherry-ish notes, a bit of sweetness. A bit bitter in the taste. Pretty pleasant.

Absolutely towering white head produced by explosive opening. Some orange-golden fluid underneath. Very dry nose - horseblanket, straw, dust - dust as from the horsetrack. Immortelles, marigolds. Very mild lambic. Again floral, honey caramel, flowers turned into sweets, sunflower, sweetcorn. Again this sawdust, horse corral impression. Light body, not very carbonated any longer, slick, wheaty character. Frank. Can a gueuze be too mals? If so, this is it. Txs to Stef!

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy orangish golden, white head. Aroma: Wood, barnyard funky, fruity berries. Taste: Moldy, farm barn funk, oxidized grapes, some citrus, oak wood, straw, old hop, minerals. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Still young, but already tasting like an aged Oude Geuze. Moderate tartness, light bitterness. Well balanced. Nice one.
