This one-off Double Dry Hopped Pale Ale uses the same malt base as our signature DDH Pale but switches up the hops. It showcases crop year 2018 Citra and Mosaic, selected by us at source in Yakima, which proved to be the two most popular varieties to feature in our recent CY18 series of beers.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up via Beer Ritz. Pours hazy gold with a foamy, white head. Great beer, lovely mix of dank and juicy, some tangerine, ripe lemon, papaya, a little pine, pale bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish, more juicy citrus fruits, a nip of hop dust, dry pale malts, soft pine, rind. Nice depth. Super drinkable.

Keg at 73 Enid Street. A clouded mid orange gold coloured pour with a fine white head that fades to a halo. Aroma is big sautéed onion, chive, green hop, chive, savory in a good way. Flavour is composed of crisp light grains, wheat, spicy cittus, light mineral, big grassy green hop. Fresh. Drinks good. Palate is crisp, highish carbonation little grainy. Good.

Can picked up from Kihoskh and shared at home (02/09/2019) - very hazy yellow pour with a white head. Fruity juicy notes of grapefruit and tangerine in play, medium sweet pale malty backing, medium body, light floral and grassy hoppy bitter finish.

ABV: 5.5%. Hazy - murky matt medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus - grapefruit, orange, tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a long to average duration, tropical fruit, citrus - grapefruit, fruity hops, fruit juice. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190831]

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Murked up, pale, ginger gold. Thin Cloudwater swede. Nose has pulped mango and orange. Nicely minty, herbal notes. Touch of strawberry and vanilla sweetness. Taste has a smoothie type sweetness, with a light, pithy, citrus zest bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Light bitterness to finish. Nice one.

Keg at Tilt, Brum. Pours very hazy lemon gold with a medium head. Aroma is grassy, pissy onion. Taste is grassy to start with an onion hop finish.
