440ml can. Golden colour with a slight haze, big white head. Aroma of orange, marmalade, pine. Taste of orange, marmalade, grapefruit peel, pine, caramel malt, good lingering assertive bitterness to finish. Medium bodied. Excepted more of a dominant piney hop showcase here but it's decent for a soopymarket westie.

Can at home picked up from Morrisions. A clear mid golden orange coloured pour with a lasting rocky white head. Aroma is biscuity base grains, some weedy pines, bark, dirty hops. Flavour is composed of semi crisp, woody pine, bark, light weed, firm bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation. Not bad west coaster.

In the cult television series, the iconic 'Welcome To Twin Peaks' population sign in the opening of each Twin Peaks episode actually misstated the amount of people living there by over 46,000. This beer is a little misstated too, I expected a lot more pine, and whilst its strength might have an impact here there's not much, and the ensuing hoppy character is a little bland by Northern Monk standards.
