A modern Amber Ale for everyone. American hops pair with a traditional British malt base and yeast profile to give this local favourite a distinctly modern twist. Caramel, toffee, honey & hazelnut combined with a malty backbone make this an incredibly well balanced amber ale.

Cask @ Hart & Spool, Borehamwood. Deeper amber with a bubbly head. Has fair fruity nose and taste, which is slightly more stated in the former, with an inoffensive drinkable texture.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Cardinal 05.04.16. Hazy dark orange. Off-white head. Wonderful aroma of fresh British hops, forest and malt. Perhaps also some orange marmalade and American hops. Similar taste. Very quaffable - I could drink pint and pint of thus!

500ml bottle conditioned, at home on 6th March 2016: poured slowly into a UK pint sleeve (8 Sail Brewery, tall design). Good looking beer, true amber coloured body with a beige topping. Nice blend of hop and malts, each taking centre stage in turn within both the aroma and taste. Liked it.

Cask at the bow bar. Pours clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of citrus, toffee. Taste is light sweet at first, then a tropical fruit bitter finish. Nice, if a little thin.
