750ml bottle, at the Beer Jerk Bunker bottle share, thanks to me but actually from trade with cesarpball, so thanks to me. Pours gold. Barnyard, horsey, straw, pineapple, strawberry, melon, lemon. Medium body. Interesting.

Botella 75 cl cortesía Fonso tomada en Belmonte 05..06..2017. (r30). Color tostado ámbar turbio con espuma blanca poco persistente. Sabores suaves afrutados maltosos con ligeros toques ácidos, sobretodo en frío, que desaparecen al calentar. Grandes toques de maderas empapadas en vinos. Ligeras vainillas. Roble. Buena.

Bottle at RBESG 2016 Grand Tasting Part 1, Brew Pub Le Sec. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of citrus, woody notes, light funk, tart light fruit. Flavour is light moderate sour. Light to light medium bodied with soft carbonation. [09-07-2016]

[backlog] 05-05-16 / sample at Cantillon Quintessence 2016. Vintage 2013. Paired with calabres cheese. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating: 3.25/5

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of wood, citrus, lemon, malts, light hops. Light sour flavour, citrus, hint of bitterness. Quite fizzy. Light sour finish, fruity, wood.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona, Grand Tasting. Golden to orange colour. Lovely funky / brettanomyces aroma, notes of oak and farmhouse. Light flavour with brett and a medium acidity, very drinkable.

9th July 2016: RBESG Grand Tasting (part 1). One of the four sour beers from this brewery we started the Grand Tasting with. All new to me, old friends to some around the table. This version sat mid-table on sourness and tartness in my eyes. Golden orange pour, white wispy head, dry aftertaste: not really my bag.

Bottle sample @ Quintessence 2016. Léger doré-ambré, col fin blanc Autre version de Barrica qui est bonifiée par l’usage de lambic. Retrouve le profil de Pale Ale surtout au niveau des houblons, le tout est bcp plus frais et houblonné que sur la Blend #1. En faisant omission du lambic, on retrouve un léger boisé, notes de malt pâle, le tout affiné par un houblonné tranchant vers le fleuri et fruité - encore un usage funk presque brett. Juste dommage quand les meilleures bières proposées sont celles contenant du Cantillon.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ Quintessence 2016. 2013 Vintage. Hazy golden, little off-white. Nose is nice funk, low sour stone fruit & some barn. Taste is a bit weird, rather mineral, lightly sour stone fruit, fizzy, low sweetness, no butter unlike some of the others, low sourness. Age has helped to clear out a lot of weird elements here, I would guess, best one I had from these guys at the festival despite the very low ratings here (36 & 4 respectively currently), bad batches etc. might be a play here. Strange but enjoyable.
