Gravicask, third-pint glass at USA Cask Ale Bar, Gbbf ’11. No head, unclear amber body colour. Resin and dried fruits like raisin to the nose. Malt-fruity taste including dried fruits and pine. Fine malt-bitter ending. Paired well with my Cornish pasty (London, 02.08.2011).

Cask at GBBF, 2011. Black pour with a tan head. Coffee, dark chocolate and black treacle aroma. Quite dry. Light coffee flavour oddly with a strange strawberry like quality on the palate (can’t be right?). (Rubs chin) very interesting.

A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, wood, fruits, and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, vinegar, malt, and fruits, leading to a dry and very tart finish.

Handbottle 18 cl. Courtesy of ditmier. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a small white head. Very funky, acetic nose with rotten sweet fruit. Medium body, sweet rotten fruit, loads of acetone and a sharp and biting finish. A little baking yeast underneath. Funky indeed, but more acetic than Bretty. But not a bad Sour. 180611
