(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 21 Nov 2025) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, floral nose with apples, citrus and herbs. Fruity, floral taste with notes of apples, apple skin, apricots, orange peel and a dry and tart finish with generous tannins. Medium body, mainly dry. Refreshing and well balanced, with a good acidity. Nice one.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, online @ 6.9%. Pours a cloudy, muddy brownish-orange, still. Aroma is characterful with dessert apples, wood, funk, light smoke. Taste of fruity slightly sour dessert apples, oak, dry and light smoke finish, some alcohol warmth. Has a bit of a top quality home brew feel about it. Nothing wrong with that through, its a tasty one.

500ml bottle. Cloudy dark gold, still with no head. Aroma of funky apples, brown sugar, and anti septic. Taste is quite sweet with a dry tangy finish, light, arguably thin. Its decent.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe now at 6.9%. Pours a clear but promising amber-gold, a few bubbles on top but its a still cider. Aroma is very woody with ripe dessert apples and booze. Heady stuff! Taste sweetish, tangy bittersweet apples, peel, light brown sugar, wood. A slight tangy yeast aftertaste which reminds me of some barrel aged sour beers I've tried. Medium bodied, light oiliness, smooth. Its a good characterful cider.

Taste is as per aroma, slightly acidic, somewhat funky and dry in the finish. Slick medium body, very low carbonation. Good cider.
