Deep dark brown coloured body with a very thick and opaque dark brown glow that has a touch of oil near the top and a thick-ish, two centimetre tall light brown on top of that. Aroma of deep robust oatmeal and roasted malts with some vanilla and lactose in the mix, but the bitterness and deep scents come purely from the malts. Medium-bodied; Assertive roasted malts with oatmeal, grain and some peated malt noticeable along with a lot of caramelised sugars and a good kick of pungent nuts and earthy flavours, especially at the end. Aftertaste shows some oatmeal, a lot of caramelised sugars and earthiness from the bitter malts and nuts with a smoothish, vanilla, lactose and creamy note - nice, considering the deep robust notes at first. Overall, a nice stout that shows some sweetness throughout the rather bitter and pungent oatmeal and aggressive malts, but a smooth vanilla and lactose/cream kick make this robust while being slightly easy-drinking. Not a bad option compared to some of their other beers, especially as something non-hoppy! I sampled this sixteen ounce pint on draught at the Slippery Otter Pub in West Yellowstone, Montana on 30-July-2020 for US$6,00 while eating dinner with my family outside Yellowstone National Park.

Fairly clear copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, pure white head and a few bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of light grain, cardboardie malt, some light wheat, yeast, soft caramelised sugar notes and a hint of flowers - fairly mild. Light-bodied; Strong grainy and malty flavour at first with a big hit of yeast and caramelised sugar and even toffee notes with a hint of nuttiness and very little else. Aftertaste shows some grain and malty notes with a light dose of bread and flowers with a hint of bitterness from the nuts and earthiness, but fairly mild throughout. Overall, a decent enough light Ale with some sweetness from caramelised sugars and a hint of flowers couple with the deep malts and yeast notes. Not a horrible option to sample and a good option from all the hoppy beers if here in Montana. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Bullwinkle's Liqour Shop in West Yellowstone, Montana on 30-July-2020 for US$1,67 sampled in my hotel room here in West Yellowstone, Montana on 01-July-2020.

Clear copper and bronze coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall off-white and almost tan head. Aroma of resin, pine, grass, flowers and a dash of alcohol, all with a relatively strong malt backbone. Medium to Full-bodied; Deep, resinous hop bite up front with a lot of hop bitterness, some pungent herbal and dank resinous notes with a syrupy kick and a dash of flowers and cleanser, all with a relatively strong malt backbone. Aftertaste shows some deeper earthy malts with a touch of nuts and fresh-cut grass, along with some herbal elements and a strong bitterness from the hops that shows high alpha acids and a very syrupy/resinous bite. Overall, a decent enough Imperial-ish IPA that shows some good fresher hop characteristics with a flavourful and pungent malt backbone with the syrupy and resinous notes that give this enough character to be enjoyable. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Bullwinkle's Liqour Store here in West Yellowstone, Montana on 30-July-2020 for US$1,67 sampled in my hotel room here in West Yellowstone, Montana a few hours later, on 30-July-2020.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a thick, two to three centimetre tall tan head that stays afloat for a while. Aroma of toasted malt, caramelised sugars, light grain, a dash of vanilla, molasses and peated malt. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent toasted malt flavours dominate with a lot of caramelised sugars, toffee, earthy grain and some nuts, with a little of the vanilla and cream/lactose notes coming through at the very end. Aftertaste is fairly sweet with some of the caramel and toffee notes making it through the malts and perhaps a little bit of vanilla as well, with a creamy finish at the end that makes this taste more of a porter than a scotch. Overall, a decent beer at best, with less of a toasted grain and pungent nutty characteristic, and more of a creamy, milk, sweet bite that shows a porter seemingly. Not a horrible beer, but not really true to style, of course. On tap at the brewery pours out golden topped with a white head out of a plastic cup. Nose is light citrus hops and some melons. Taste is more of the nice sweet fruit over ripe citrus and a melon touch.

Cocoa and dark cereal notes. Deep brown with a small white head. Light and fruity with some cocoa. Not at all what I expected from an oatmeal stout.

12 oz. bottle, pours a red-tinged dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle toasted malt, with not much else. Flavour is quite light, with toasted malt and some earthy notes. Weak and watery, but it's inoffensive. Characterless.
