Bottle: Pours a lighter copper orange color with a smaller sandy head. Tons of sticky lacing. Aroma is a mild, pleasant blend of caramel sweetness and floral hops. Tastes sweet, yet the florals take the foreground. Light lingering bitterness. Not great, but much better than the others I tried from MRB.

Bottle: Pours a hazy copper copper (light amber at best) color with a large, creamy beige head. Sticky bits of lacing cling to the glass everywhere. Aroma is dry and earthy, bready, and lightly sweet. The first thing about the taste is lots of bready notes. Then it gets a bit watery before a soapy ending...

Bottle: Bright straw color with a finger of creamy white head. Malty aroma is lightly sweet and doesn’t have much going on. Tastes different that I had excpected. Lager malt sweetness, grassey, florals, and grain. No honey or rye to speak of... Just uninspiring on all levels.

Bottle: Dark copper color with two fingers of creamy sand colored head. Lots of sticky lacing. Nose is immediately sweet and indicative of the style. Heavy in malt and caramel, lighter in rye and earthiness. No bitters here... Sweet and mellow taste of earthy notes, peat, and rye. Maybe some faint smokiness, but it’s so sweet it blends together. Finish gets a little sticky in a dull malty way.

12 oz bottle. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, cinnamon. Pours a deep red ruby brown with a thin head with okay lacing. Tastes better than a Scotch ale. Almost like a porter or deep brown ale maltiness to it. Nutty. Not bad.

Bottle from alldaydrinker; Nose of light floral hops, caramel, with a little vanilla; lightly hazy amaber with a good sized biege head; flavor has some background hop bitterness masked partially masked by caramel and a little sweetness for a delicate balance. Preety darn drinkable!

Bottle from alldaydrinker; Nose of graininess with slight tart and grassy notes; Lightly hazed yellow (like honey) with a small pale yellow head; flavor of honey, light hop bitterness, and some light tart notes which combined with the honey for the finish.
