(Keg at an Indian restaurant, Regensburg, 20130514) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and metallicness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, hint of fruitiness and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. A decent pils.

Bottle: Greenish-golden, a bit unclear, lively carbonation, therefore crowned by a stable white creamy head, grassy-herbal nose with some bisquity-malty undertones; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not too light bodied; slightly lingering grassy-bitter finish with a delicate malty counterpart. Quite flavourful and far better than expected…

Bottle. Golden, champagne bubbles, offwhite lace. Fruity malt nose, orangepeel and grass. Honeyish sweetness on the entry which quickly gets dissolved by citric and grassy aromatics and a sparkly dry palate. Chewy medium bode. Citrusgrass and honey finish. Very nice Festbier.
