Description
One of the most traditional Bavarian breweries - HERRNBRÄU - is located in Ingolstadt - the city in which Duke Wilhelm IV's world-famous “Bavarian Purity Law” was announced in 1516. For over 130 years we have stood for old Bavarian brewing art and beer specialties of the finest quality. Beer and wheat beer lovers far beyond the borders of Ingolstadt and Bavaria also know and appreciate our traditional recipes and products brewed only with the best ingredients.

Gold with a clear, foamy, white head. Minimal aroma, but it was served quite cold. Grainy.. maybe an unexpected touch of clove. Taste is mildly bitter, finishing the same over a thinnish, light body. Not much to it. Inoffensive.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy dark amber with a persistent off-white head. Aromas of banana, toffee and bread. Taste adds light spice and dough. Light sweet finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a rich, frothy, velvety and lacing very white head. Fresh lemonade aroma. Light body, very sweet lemonade notes with a sticky, clammy note (maybe the fructose syrup). Not a top notch Radler. 100226

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with some floating yeast particles and a small yet lacing, white head. Lemony aroma, but more lemon juice than lemonade. Light body, quite fizzy, again dry lemonjuice - not tart though. No bitterness, no yeastiness. A bit meh tbh. 100226

Ladnie wygladajace zlociste piwo w kuflu, ze spora czapowata i trwala solidna piana. Chmielne, lekki profilek slodowy, ale wszystko z umiarem i dobrze dobrane, stylowa swiateczna etykieta, mocno nagazowane.

Bardzo dobre, nalane do szklanicy Erdingera, piekna czapa piany, jest kremowa, barwa czerwono brazowa, metne i to bardzo, piana trzyma sie do konca, lekkie nuty korzenne i karmelowe, nieco pieczonego banana oraz gozdzikow i kardamonu. Klasyczna ciemna pszenica, ale podkrecone na maksa.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an orangey golden with a faint haze and a tiny, off-white head. Sweet, malty nose - some biscuit notes. Medium body, very sweet biscuit and caramel with next to no bitterness. A candy beer out of balance. 190126

0.5l bottle. Cloudy muddy brown gold with a white head, not the most aesthetic weissbier. Aroma of spicy clove and pureed banana esters. Taste of spicy clove, sweet pureed banana, wheaty bready malts, yeast esters continue to the end, kind of sweet but finishes dry, light bitterness. Medium bodied, high-ish carbonation.
