Tap. Pours clear deep reddish brown with a medium brown head and great lacing. Aroma is coffee, dark roasted malts, and light orange peel. Flavor is the same, lightly sweet and light coffee bitter, with light astringence that fades as the beer breathes. Light to medium body. Again, I don’t understand the low ratings on this beer.

Tap. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium creamy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is classic Hefe - wheat, banana, lemon. Flavor is the same, with banana notes more prominent than in the aroma. Lighlty sweet, light bodied and refreshing. I cannot understand why this beer is getting such low ratings.

Tap. Pours clear super pale yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is grain, lemon, and grass. Flavor is the same, lightly sweet with a light bitter grassy finish. Very light bodied, but decently refreshing.

Tap. Pours a clear very pale yellow with a medium white creamy head that leaves great lacing. Downhill from there, unfortunately. Aroma was extremely faint, with a bit of grain and not much else. Flavor was stronger, grain, grass, and plastic with a metallic bitter aftertaste. Very light bodied. Not good.

Tap. Pours cloudy orange amber with a medium off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, spruce, resin, very malt forward. Flavor is quite sweet with a medium bitter body and finish. Woody spruce notes. Body is medium, oily to the point of coating the tongue. Interesting try, definitely outside the normal IPA mold, but not my thing.

Tap. Pours Clear pale amber, medium white head, great lacing. Faint aroma of citrus, grapefruit and spruce, with a light floral note. Flavor same, light sweet, light bitter. Light to medium body. Quite refreshing and in my opinion not deserving of the low scores.

Bottle. Pours an amber brown with a thin tan head and little lacing. Something is off here. Aroma is sweet caramel and butterscotch. Taste is about the same with some nuttiness and a bit of hops to round things out. Not again

Dexters. Pours a thick, bright, fruity red with a beige-pink head, pretty steady. Sweet red-raspberry aroma. Raspberry Barleywine? Supposedly pretty strong, if so, covers the alcohol well. Very smooth and easy drinking, albeit a little watery and one-dimensional. Sort of nice still, natural raspberry aftertaste. Somewhat dulled down, could benefit from...something more. An interesting treat, much more raspberry than barleywine.
