Aroma is resiny hops, some spice, a little bit of orange citrus, and a hint of malt. Flavor it falls down some because it’s more like a barleywine then a double IPA.

Aroma is raspberries caramel and toasted bread. Flavor is a very drinkable tart raspberries and a little malt. Mosley Tire with a bit of sweet. Body is full and very well-balanced. Nice finish.

Appearance’s a hazy, dull amber with a very short lived head and no lace. Aroma’s not bad with traditional banana/ clove characteristics. Flavor’s like nose, though a bit shallow. Body’s on the thin side. Ok beer, but not my fav Pearl Street.

Appearance’s is nice with a fluffy off white head, good lacing and a clear amber color. Aroma is fresh Hops and lots of caramel. Flavors a little different with resiny hops, plenty of Bittersweet and a moderately long bitter finish. Decent body.

Aroma is Grassy, wet grain, slightly tart. Flavor is somewhat like nose, a bit nutty, good carbonation, and quite drinkable. I didn’t have any syrup so I used some strawberry rhubarb jam and that worked very well. Decent Brew.

Bottle: Black with a thick, dark, tan head. Chocolate, dark coffee roast aroma. Sweet, nearly sugared, coffee malt, chocolate malt..... Very sweet...ends with a slightly oily bitter....not bad.

Bottle sent for review. The beer starts out with a big puffy head, which throws up aromatics of, well, animal dander. That means it’s pretty strong, like the Amarillo hops in, say, Gumballhead. Then there’s a side of lemonade to go along. The body is a cloudy burnished brass color, with some particles visible. Of course, the taste has a tongue-curling bitterness, like chewing on pine needles with a lime rickey chaser. There is caramel or Crystal malt to provide support, which helps mitigate the extra hop aromatics. The finish brings an added bit of cantaloupe for good measure. Another beer with a taste all its own, and not for the faint of heart.

Tap at Vintage. Fading beige head. on top of an unfiltered amber-brown body. Brutally infected, not sure what is going on here, but it definitely should have been dumped. Bitingly cherry sour. Gross, not drinkable. Not Scottish and certainly crap.

Sampled from the tap at Mr. Brews Plover. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has bitter citrus and pine notes with a bit of grain/rye backing. Flavor has a nice bitter citrus with light pine, rye and grains backing.

Black brew sitting under an impressive head of tan foam.
Roasted malt dominates the smell with both sweet and bitter notes. Chocolate is there and provides most of the bitterness.
Chocolate is on the sweet side in the taste. Roasted malt gives the bitter, I taste the oats in the background.
Smooth mouthfeel.
A nice brew, imho. Thanks Tyler!
