Big fizzy mediumlasting head, cloudy. Aroma is dry sour-ish floral, apple peel, leafs, bark, flowers, grass, apple cores, yeast, unripe apples, alcohol, minerals, paper, hints of oak and old cellar. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, unripe apples, sorrel, minerals, bark, apple peel, leafs, apple cores, yeast, soda powder. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Small fizzy shortlasting head, slightly cloudy golden color. Aroma is dry funky fruity, apple cores, sorrel, mild thinner, brett, hay, flowers, sour apples, oak, mild vinegar, barnyard. Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, sour apples, mild vinegar, sorrel, citrus acid, oak, flowers, apple cores, minerals, hay, barnyard, brett. Medium bitterness, swee sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Interesting and nice enough, but I prefer the fruity Hardanger way.

Bottle. Clear golden body under a fast-disappearing white head. Lively carbonation, champagne style. Aroma has apples and some yeast with an acidic touch. Taste is quite straight forward apple cider with some yeast and acidity. Not much going on but a fine balance between sweetness and acidity. Medium body and average aftertaste. Descent.

Klar med bobler. Lukter epler og noe gjær. Sprudlende i munnfølelse. Syrlig epler i smak. Syrligheten sitter i lenge.

Bottle, 75cl corked. Really well carbonated this one, cracked open with a loud bang, but wasn't a gusher. It's almost clear in the glass, golden in color, with a lot of carbonation, resulting in a thin film of foam on the top. The aroma has lots of apple, but also a pleasant touch of cellar and some grass and pear. A bit yeasty at first, but that diminshes quickly. Some alcohol blends in. It's effervescent and full-bodied, semi-dry, with an apple driven flavor. Pear, alcohol a cellary, lightly yeasty touch and some grass notes. A touch of generic herbs and pear chimes in towards the finish. A decent cider indeed, but a bit too straight forward perhaps. 220723

Fra en meget elegant 0,375, på julaften hos Einar og Synne: vakker dypgylden farge og intens aroma og smak. Syrlig og med deilig sødme som varer og varer. Ingen grunn til å kjøpe flotte tokayere når du får minst like gode smaksopplevelser fra lokale produsenter. Mersmaken satt i hele kvelden.
