Amber color. Both the aroma and flavor have malt and hop, the mouthfeel is quite dry, very light cheesy notes (aroma), some caramel taste. Only the final has something disappointing (short and not aromatic).

Bottle. Pour an amber colour with a thick off-white head. Malty aroma with nice hoppiness and some hints of caramel. Malty and fruity flavor with some nice hoppiness. Dry hoppy finish.

Bottle. Reddish amber beer with a strong head. The aroma is dry, caramel and hopped and the flavour is strongly dry and toffee but lacking in subtleness. Overall a disappointing beer.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] A red-brown beer with a dense creamy brown head. The aroma is sweet roasted with light notes of chocolate, while the flavor besides the sweet rostyness contains light notes of metal and lemon, and leads to a dry bitter end.

Cask handpull at The Cove, Covent Garden with Yogi Beera, Pivo, Chris_O and Kook. Thanks to Chris and Kook for showing me this place, as I would never have found it otherwise. Deep gold. Nice citric hop, really quite pleasant overall. Good beer with citric hoppy finish and some good white flesh fruit flavours.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] An orange-brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy combined with notes of caramel - a lot of character. The flavor is sweet with lots of caramel and a bitter hoppy end, but from a hop sort I’m not fond of. The body is thin.

Bottle. Brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is lightly bitter and slightly caramel and the flavour is slightly burn’t, quite sweet and slightly dry. Overall a reasonable flatish beer.

Cask handpull at Wetherspoons, Folkestone. Chestnut colour with thin white off white head. Some sulphur and roasted malt. Nice fruity nose actually with some toffee. Finish has good malt/hop balance. Caramel in mouth too, nice
