Bottle from Porta 50, Lisboa. Fairly firm roasted malt with coffee, some dark chocolate and liquorice. Moderate to medium sweet with a good bitterness. Nicely roasty, body could be fuller, bit too much liquorice for my taste. Dig the coffee.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Clear pale amber colour, good frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, grain, light pear. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, grain, light pear, earthy notes. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, mild sweetbitter aftertaste, cardboard, husky and earthy notes,

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Malty nose. Hazy pale amber colour, good frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma pale malts, grain, caramel, resinous notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, dark bread, pine resin. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonationl, lingering malty sweetbitter aftertaste, spicy notes, rather coarse impression, gradually becoming more smooth, more like an amber ale, nice.

Dark brown colour with a medium sized white head. Lacing. Aroma is caramel malts, soft honey, wood and liquorice. Taste is sweet caramel malts, wood and soft plums. Sweet boozy finish.

Taster at Letraria Braga. Cloudy, reddish amber colored. AROMA- pleasant alcohol, dark fruit, caramel, wooden barrel. FLAVOR- dry, warming, dark fruit, berries. Medium bodied. Somewhat empty.
