Description
Returning brewing to Wimborne after almost 80 years. Eight Arch Brewing Co. is named after the eight arches at nearby landmark Julian’s Bridge in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, UK. Producing hop forward pales & IPAs to dark & roasty stouts. We have won awards in both regional and national SIBA competitions for a variety of styles.

Can from Ales By Mail. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, citrus, flowers and malt. Nice fruity finish. LIttle watery.

Can. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

8 3 8 3 16 Draft at All Hail Ale, Bournemouth. Near clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of peach, tropical fruits and citrus. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Craft Islington. Cask. Oily looking brown beer, no head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, modest fine carbonation. Thin and tangy dark malts, tangy coffee. Mild tangy fruits underneath. Light dry finish. Pretty tangy.

29th November 2017
Craft Islington. Cask. Semi opaque dark amber beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, a little sweetness from them. Trace of dark chocolate and a whisper of roast. Light piney hop and berry fruits. Modest orange peel. Some candy fruits on the light finish. Pleasant! Plenty going on here.

Cask at CBC Islington, 29/11/17. Murky mahogany brown with a decent light tan head. Nose is pine needle, liqourice, spice, blackcurrants, brown bread. Taste comprises jammy berry fruits, light roast, cocoa powder, earthy, black peppery spice, pine, dusty Tropicana, Ribena berry. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with balanced earthy hop bitterness. A really solid cask CDA ... one of the best I've had from a stick.

Cask at CBC islington. A clear nut brown coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is nice fruity pear, nutty malts, light pine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, pine, pear, light strawberry, Palate is mellow carbonation, semi sweet, esters. . Nice.

Cask at Craft Islington. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, candy, cola cubes, roasted malt, berry, candied citrus, earthy and glace cherry. The taste is dry, bitter, charred pine, toasty, burnt, dark fruits, pithy, zesty, green, grassy, resin, spice and coffee cake with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Punchy shizzle. Solid stuff.
