Description
Returning brewing to Wimborne after almost 80 years. Eight Arch Brewing Co. is named after the eight arches at nearby landmark Julian’s Bridge in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, UK. Producing hop forward pales & IPAs to dark & roasty stouts. We have won awards in both regional and national SIBA competitions for a variety of styles.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, High Holborn, London. Pours almost black with a lasting beige head. Aroma of chocolate, light roasted malt, touch of coffee and vanilla. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium plus body, slick texture, soft carbonation.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 4th March 2017. Hazy amber with off-white foam and full lacing. Fine grapefruit citrus dominates aroma and liquid pass leaving a tangy finish. Biscuit malt background throughout. Zingy mouthfeel and a light body.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Eight Arch Corbel ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white - silver head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, pine, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, tropical fruit, pine - citrus, hoppy, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’nails, Bristol 22/12/2016. Slightly hazy gold, with a small, white, head. Tangerine and pineapple fruits, some rather sharp, grassy, hops, biscuity malts and a dryish finish. Good.

On the SilkTork Southampton through the looking glass tour. Sunday cloudy gold lasting white head. its a too hoppy unbalanced beer. Some harsh citrus. It’s kinda ok but a bit muddy. Hmmm.

Cask at GBBF ’16, day one, 09/08/16. Light golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is juicy hop exhaust, passionfruit, tangerine, melon. Taste comprises pith cirics, straw, mandarin, melon, light pine tingle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a hoppy linger. A really pleasant hoppy cask number.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Light floral hop. Good marmalade and citric peel. Light lemon and floral lemon. Decent.
