Draft. Deep golden/light amber body. Frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, lemon, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Straight-forward IPA.

Draft at the BJ's location in Glen Allen, VA. Poured an almost pitch black color, at least that's how it looked at the table. Creamy, very light tan head. Pleasant roasted notes, nice hop notes. Not overly bitter, no hop leaf character, which is always what I worry about with this particular style.

Draft at the BJ's location in Glen Allen, VA. Poured a brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was actually pretty pleasant nutty, malty. Light caramel malts, with some touch of chocolate. Flavor was similar, toffee, some brown sugar, with a little bit of light vanilla. Pretty good.
