Cask @ brewpub San Jose. After my disappointments regarding the brewhouse blond (Kölsch) I was pleased to sample this fine version of a Belgian Blonde. Golden body with a small white head. The aroma were fruity with some citrus and coriander spices. The flavor is not to strong, very refreshing, with a fruity aftertaste accompaniment with the same spices as indicated in the aroma. Nice.

Cask @ brewpub San Jose. Pale yellow body with a small white head. A little fruity aroma. The flavor is more typical German Kölsch than anything else. Quite dry, crispy, a bit sour bitterness. Not my type of beer.

Draught at Concordia ale house. Black colour, small brown disappearing head. Aroma of coffee, some toasted cereal. Medium flavour, definitely is a sweet stout. Finish like a good cup of coffee. I’ve had this before and it had a fuller flavour. Probably was the bean

Cask @ brewpub San Jose. Clear dark amber body with a moderate white head. Lovely fruity hoppy aroma. Flavor is sweet malty, some caramel and varying hop aromas. Slightly roasted. The long aftertaste is dominated by cascade hop. A really pleasant ale, not far from the famous Pale Ale from Nøgne Ø in Grimstad.

Draft. Light copper/orange with small, but dense head. Appealing aroma of hops — citrus, grapefruit, orange peel. The flavor starts slightly sweet but gives way to a moderately bitter finish. Watery body with lots of carbonation.
