Tap at the Sacramento/Natomas venue. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is moderate citrus and light mixed tropicals. Med body. The malt resembles that in SN Pale Ale. Dryer than SNPA tho. Moderately bitter. I'll go with apricot/mango/citrus. Decent food wash.

On tap as part of a flight at Brew Hub, St. Louis. It's a hazy pale yellow with trace sparkle, ring of off-white head with no lacing. Aroma is coriander, wheat and faint orange peel. Taste is moderately strong wheat, coriander, fruity esters. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, average carbonation with late sting to the tongue, and finish as taste. Overall, pretty standard hefeweizen.

Draft at the Natomas, CA venue. Pours ruddy amber with a slight head. Aroma is ambery malt (no roast). Med body. Flavor is like Tmavy malt, xpt for honey and a minimal hop accompaniment. Honey on my lips. Not dry. Lightly bitter. Not all that exciting.

Green $2 can from chalet premier boardman. Cloudy pale. This stuff is thick, it almost pours like syrup, scary looking. The olfactory is mild but its alarmingly cloying. No head either. This feel is thicker and mouth coating on the palate. Bitter yes, but some cloying sweetness sticks to the inside of the mouth. Difficult in the middle. Yes, becomes like cough medicine after a few swigs. Oh my. As I get toward the finish, my gag reflex wants to kick in. One big fat straight up rude ass brew!

A good clean relatively dry beer for being so big. The whisky barrel is mild, the beer is big but easy drinking. BJs Boulder

Really nice tartness. Good malty backbone. Nice balance and a good sipping beer. BJs Boulder

Some astringency underneath. Certainly not a cleanly made super crisp lager. BJs Boulder

Draft. Clear light gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Tastes like a lager without the grainy texture. Clean and lightly sweet with a touch of honey flavor. Very repeatable.

Tap at the Sacramento venue. Pours clear reddish amber with a beige head. Pine aroma. Medium plus body. Flavor is resin/pine - very strong - and ambery roasty malt. Sort of red IPA. Tasty.
