Small white bubbly mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, weeds, grain, hay, yeast, caramel, cereal, sulfur, grass, leafs. Taste is slightly dry grainy, hay, wet grain, leafs, weeds, flowers, yeast, paper, grass. Medium bitterness, dry watery mouthfeel. Meh!

Bottle. A lighlty unclear brown beer with an off-white head. The aroma is roasted and malty, with a bready touch and some hoppy scents. It’s a bit thin on the palate I think, it’s dry and nicely carbonated. Roasted malts, coffee and bread in the flavor, with an appropriate level of carbonation. Some caramel kicks in towards the very end. Mostly roasted finish though. Overall, nothing extraordinary going on here, but it’s a solid and tasteful beer. Needs more body I think, but at least it slides down very easy. 140621

Bottle. An unclear, orange-brown beer topped by a dense, off-white head of moderate size. The aroma has a sourish maltyness, hints of cocoa, grass and some pine cone notes. It’s full-bodied and well carbonated, dryish, with flavors of lightly roasted malts, mash, citrus zest and some green pine cones. A nice bitterness lasting for a good while. Quite bready, especially in the finish. Sorry, not convinced here, it’s too bready and malt forward for a pale ale. It’s not bad, it’s just that I’m not tempted to a rebuy. 140620

Lys brun tåkete med tynt hvitt skum. Fikk med en del segmenter. beskjeden lukt. Lett sitron og noe sydhavsfrukt og malt. syrlig og søtlig smak. litt oljete, oljete, medium kullsyre. Kort ettersmak, sitter igjen med søt smak i munnen.

Lys brun farge. uklar med luftig hvitt skum som ligger og henger i glassveggen. Har også noe bunnslam. lukter litt skuffende. Litt som en lager. Malt og noe sitrus. Medium til lett fylde. oljete i munnfølelse og en anelse syrlig ettersmak.
