Can in Croydonia. Thanks to Leighton. It pours clear pale yellow with a thick white head. The aroma is fresh, sweet, sugared lemons, lychee, sherbet and dull grapefruit. The taste is crisp, bitter, lemony sherbet, soap, grapefruit, floral, white spice, alcohol and white bread with a dry, soapy finish. Light - medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. OK I suppose, but a bit soapy.

Tap at Craft Pride in Austin. Clear pale orange with full head that quickly falls away to a solid collar and whisping across the top. Sweet and fruity aroma. Malt is retained nicely in the flavor profile. Very enjoyable - just gets better and better as it warms.

10 oz tulip draft at the brewery tasting room in Dripping Springs, Texas. The pour is an opaque black brown with a small off white head. The aroma is floral earthy hop along with a soft roast. The taste is a nice blend of the floral hops of the nose, along with a roast malt that carries the finish. The subtleness of the roast made this quite drinkable. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a clean soft floral finish. Nice.

Had this with a meal the first time I tried this, so maybe the food masked just how awful this stuff is. Not sure how to describe the taste, but it is foul. Drain pour. Initial Rating 10/18/2015 of 2.6: Poured from a 12 oz. can at The Scarlet Rabbit. 2 1/2 finger foamy white head, clear straw color. A bit of fruit in the aroma. Taste has a touch of hops, corn, mildly sweet. Crisp, refreshing.

Draft @ Twisted X. Black in color with a tad bit of head. The aroma is ok, citrus, pine and weak roast. Then we get to the flavor: Oh, dear god this is out of whack!
The flavor doesn’t have roast to balance the hops. The pine comes off as a very harsh astringency. The body is thin and water with not enough malt backing to support the hops. Something else is off that can’t be explained. If I had brewed this at home it would be finding the drain pipe.

Draft at the source with the glass in my hand. Clear gold color, low carbonation level. Aroma is very faint; weak citrus. Flavor isn’t bad because there is not much here. Straw and grain body with a good amount of bitterness. However the bitterness doesn’t come from any real hop. It’s just bitterness without the hop punch. Maybe I am soiled from New England imperial IPA. But I don’t think so, just lacking. Not undrinkable just real bland.

Draft at the source. Clear copper color. Aroma is lightly fruity with slight Rye character. The carbonation level is fine. Body is pretty thin. Flavor profile would improve with more body. Flavor is weak fruit and weak Rye.
